The DIY Detective Method™

A structured system that uses sketching, visual mapping, and hands-on creative analysis to explore and document real-world investigations—turning raw observations into structured investigative evidence.

See What Others Miss
Train your eye to capture details, patterns, and inconsistencies.

Understand Complex Situations
Break down people, timelines, and environments into clear structures.

Think Like an Investigator
Move from assumptions to evidence-based reasoning.

Document with Clarity
Turn your findings into organized, credible records.

It begins with simple tools.
Paper, pencils, paint, markers—used to sketch, map, and capture what others overlook.

An investigation often starts by drawing. Sketches, diagrams, timelines, and visual notes transform scattered information into something that can be seen, studied, and questioned.

Visual documentation becomes a way of thinking—slowing observation, revealing patterns, and helping reconstruct complex events step by step.

Inside the academy, this process develops into a structured investigative method used to analyze real situations and build organized case records.

Every case is different.
The discipline of observation, reconstruction, and documentation remains the same.

Founder’s Note

DIY Detective™ began with necessity — and a belief that civilians should not have to face danger, institutional failure, or complex threats without structure.

I created the DIY Detective Method™ from firsthand experience as a survivor-advocate, shaped by a family legacy of forensic insight. My father, a forensic psychiatrist, contributed to high-profile cases involving John Gotti, O.J. Simpson, and Bernie Goetz. That background helped inform a disciplined approach to civilian investigation training, visual evidence mapping, timelines, suspect networks, and ethical case documentation.

Through Assassin Hunters Academy, my goal is to help civilians, victims, and survivor-advocates turn scattered observations into organized, credible records — so they can protect themselves, support others, and pursue accountability with clarity.
